Everything it does, and nothing it does not
KontoLink does one job properly: getting a document from a company to its accountant with enough context to be useful. Here is what that involves.
A file name is not information. A note is.

tells your accountant nothing. Every upload on KontoLink can carry a note, so what arrives is not just a file but a file with a reason.
That one habit removes most of the back and forth at the end of a month: no "what is this one?", no "did you already send this?", no guessing which scan belongs to which supplier. The note is offered, never demanded — a clearly named invoice can go straight through.

PDF, JPG, PNG, ZIP, Excel, Word — anything except executables and scripts, which are refused for safety.
Sorted by month
You pick the accounting period once per batch. Closing November means opening November, not scrolling a year of attachments.
Large files, in pieces
Files are sliced in the browser and reassembled on the server. Hosting limits stop mattering and a dropped connection does not lose the whole upload.
Instant notifications
A card appears in the accountant's panel the second a file arrives. No e-mail per upload — an office receiving documents all day does not need its inbox filled.
You can see it arrived
Each document shows whether your accountant has opened it and when they downloaded it. No more "did you get my e-mail?"
Every file is scanned
Uploads are checked for malware on our own server before anyone can open them. Nothing is sent to a third party, and an infected file is removed and reported to both sides.
Upload as much as you need
There is no storage limit and no meter to watch. Send every invoice your business receives; delete what you no longer need if you want to, not because you have to.
Private by default
Documents are stored outside the public web root. Every download passes an authorisation check, and only the linked office can reach them.
Change accountant freely
Leave your office from Settings and you are issued a new key for the next one. The old office loses access immediately, and your documents stay yours.
Three languages, light and dark
Slovenian, Albanian and English, each at its own address. The whole product follows your system theme and you can override it — both modes are designed, not one bolted onto the other.
