The company registers
Sign up as a company in about a minute: your name, your company details and an e-mail address. We send a six-digit code to that address — enter it and your account exists.
KontoLink immediately generates a unique key for your company and shows it on your dashboard. Nothing else happens yet: an unconnected account deliberately cannot upload anything.

You hand the key to your accountant
Send it however you already talk to them — e-mail, a phone call, a message. There is nothing to install on their side and no invitation for them to accept.
Treat the key like a password. Anyone holding it can claim your company as their client, and you can regenerate it at any time if you change office or think it has leaked.

In their panel they choose "Add company", paste the key, and confirm. Your company appears in their client list straight away, with the contact details you registered.
